 Lubbock's official preliminary to the Miss America Pageant
     

"I've dreamed about this since I was little"


Lindsay Long was crowned Miss Lubbock 2006 in a pageant    held December 3, 2005.
 

Lindsay is the 22 year old daughter of Stephen and Riki Long of Lubbock. She is a Lubbock Coronado High School Graduate and attends South Plains College majoring in Commercial Music. She also won the Most Photogenic and, Swimsuit competitions for the pageant.

  Lindsay's platform, "Hope Through Harmony" promotes a healthy outlet for expression and a positive activity for youth through music.

Lindsay was awarded a variety of gifts and services including an educational scholarship, a wardrobe, makeup and hair care consultations, nail care, tanning & weight control services, a photographic portfolio, and more. She also traveled to Fort Worth, Texas in July 2006 where she represented Lubbock in the 2006 Miss Texas Pageant.
