was crowned
Miss Teen Lubbock
in a pageant held February 21, 2009
at the Lubbock YWCA's "The Legacy". Jean Rose is a 17 year Junior at Lubbock Coronado High School where she is the Treasurer for the 2009-2010 Student Council , a member of the National Honor Society, the Pom Team , and the Cross Country/Track Team. She is the daughter of Darrell & Shari Guthrie of Lubbock. Jean Rose also won Physical Fitness In Aerobic Wear during the competition. .
